- homey_testi_text: Shenanigans is a spacious, beautiful home that this grandma, grandpa, kids and grandkids fully enjoyed!! (12 total - 6 adults and 6 kids ages infant to 13) There was so much room, everyone could find their quiet space if needed, like for doing homework or reading a book. The third floor was a big hit with the grandchildren!! It was mostly their space for playing air hockey (new family favorite) and their video game system which they hooked up to the large screen TV. All the bedrooms were big and roomy. There bathrooms were perfect and came stocked with soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The main living area on the ground floor was huge and could easily accommodate all 12 of us for meals or just hanging out. We also enjoyed the front porch quite a bit to enjoy fresh air and let the kids chase bubbles through the front yard. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking and serving dishes. There was a microwave, convection oven, crock pot, blender, toaster, coffee maker..., probably a couple more small appliances that I'm forgetting. Like I said, very well stocked!! Made meal times easy and a little creative, too! There were 2 golf carts and 4 bikes available for use. We didn't use them a lot, but they were helpful when we did use them. The home is located in a beautiful gated neighborhood. It is about 6 blocks from the closest beach access. If the walk is too long for some, the golf carts and/or bikes could be used. Blue Mountain Beach is amazing, and helped us all to fall in love with the Emerald Coast!! Some of us were here about 20 years ago..., but we WILL absolutely be back SOON!!! Some areas are over-developed and traffic is terrible, but I guess that is clear proof that others feel the way we do!! The neighborhood pool is right across the street. Its big and clean and not full of sand!! :) Communications from Todd were great! He stays in touch before your arrival, during your stay and a bit after your stay. Far from pesty, his emails were always loaded with information and excellent tips!! Once at the home, if there was a problem or concern, there was an easy link to click on and complete a quick form. A response with any needed action was immediately sent. I know if we leave the next family vacation up to the grandchildren we will be back at Shenanigans!! For no other reason than for the house!!
